I’m Neal Young, owner of SN Heating & Plumbing Ltd, and have worked really hard and invested all my energy to make my career as a Gas Safe engineer a success and something to be proud of. I’ve built my business based on my ethos to ‘be my best’. For me that means best effort, best standard of workmanship, using the best materials and parts for the job and providing the best service possible. For customers it means a great job at a fair price from an expert, skilled and reliable engineer.

As a result, the vast majority of my existing customers have chosen SN Heating & Plumbing solely based on the recommendation of others. Their feedback and testimonials are very positive, and I want it to stay that way – which is why, as my business continues to grow, anyone working for me will work to the same standards and deliver the same high level of service. Customers can be reassured that my team are all skilled and competent, of course, but they’ll also have been carefully selected to ensure they can be trusted to share my ethos.

I’ve been called a ‘pipework perfectionist’. Nothing gives me more pleasure than perfectly positioned, immaculately neat and tidy pipework.  Much of the time we’re confronted with the constraints of existing pipework that has to somehow be incorporated, but give me a piping challenge or a blank canvas and I’ll come up with probably the neatest solution you’re ever likely to see.

I’ve also been described as a ‘boiler buff’. Well, I’m not embarrassed to be a bit of a nerd when it comes to boilers – I just know my stuff.  I’ve worked on most brands of boilers of all ages and none has beaten me yet. While I can happily diagnose and repair any make, I’m a registered installer for Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Glow-worm, Ideal and Baxi – all the best on the market and providing long guarantees for your peace of mind.

‘Gas geek’ is the final term of endearment that I’m actually quite proud of because again, it shows I can be relied on as an expert. As a Gas Safe heating engineer, I am responsible for doing a job that is compliant with the highest standards of safety. The gas engineering industry in the UK is amongst the most highly regulated in the world, so the bar is really high. And rightly so, as the safety of customers and their families is in our hands.

Properly professional because I’m ambitious for my business to be one of the best, our expertise isn’t limited to domestic gas. I’m also professionally qualified in specialist areas of commercial gas engineering – so commercial businesses including factories, warehouses, offices, shops and restaurants can rely on SN Heating & Plumbing just as much as our satisfied householder customers do.
